On the heels of Weatherly announcing his impending departure from the CBS drama, TV Line has confirmed that NCIS is looking to bring on board a "name" actress in time for the NCIS Season 13 finale.
This actress will portray Tess, a FBI Special Agent who comes to D.C. from New York City's Counter-Terrorist Unit.
According to TV Line insiders, Tess is sarcastic and intelligent.
She's comfortable at a black-tie affair or at a dive bar. She believes sleep and sex are "overrated" and she loves a quality martini and a rare bacon cheeseburger.
Tess has also been divorced three times; does not have any kids; and occasionally gets in trouble with her superiors when she’s angry.
So there you have it.
And you know what question is coming next, right? Who should play Tess?!?
