But here's the question weighing on the minds of NCIS fans around the country:
Will Cote de Pablo return to say hello?
The actress, of course, departed NCIS in 2013, but executive producer Gary Glasberg made a point NOT to kill off her beloved character of Ziva.
Might we therefore see her come back to conclude NCIS Season 13 and help send Tony off in some manner?
"Everything that people want and think should be a part of these episodes, on-screen and off-, whether it's just story or background leading up to stuff ... everything will be touched upon." Glasberg tells TV Guide, adding:
"People can absolutely plan on lots of surprises and lots of emotion, and lots of twists and turns, ultimately leading us toward Tony's departure."
Okay, sounds good.
But we ask again: Will Ziva return?!?
"I promise you that everything you're fishing for will be delivered in some form," Glasberg simply says.
We're gonna take that as a yes.
It may simply be in a flashback, but we expect to see de Pablo on the May 17 season finale.
As for Weatherly's next move... we did not see THIS coming!
