Michael Weatherly may be gone from NCIS, but the actor isn't forgotten by the network.
Far from it, in fact.
Just a few hours after Weatherly departed the role of Tony DiNozzo, CBS has confirmed that not only is Weatherly returning to the network in Bull (a drama based on the life of Dr. Phil McGraw), but that it will air on Tuesday nights.
Right after NCIS and right before NCIS: New Orleans. Makes perfect sense, doesn't it?
Also of note in the fall lineup listed below:
Supergirl has been renewed for Season 2, but will air on The CW; while CBS is seeking a buyer for Limitless. It may find a new home later this year.
NCIS: Los Angeles will succeed The Good Wife on Sundays… Joel McHale’s new sitcom (The Great Indoors) will be positioned after Big Bang Theory on Thursdays… and Training Day, Doubt, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, The Amazing Race and Undercover Boss will premiere at midseason.
