It secured 14.8 million viewers and a 1.6 rating among adults 18-49.
The improved lead-in support allowed Bull (11.8 million/1.3 rating) to build to match season highs.
Meanwhile, NCIS: New Orleans (8.1 million/0.8 rating) ticked down.
Fox: Lethal Weapon (3.1 million/0.8 rating) was on par with its season average, while New Girl (1.5 million/0.5 rating) was steady.
ABC: Roseanne (10.2 million/2.6 rating), The Middle (5.9 million/1.5 rating) and black-ish (4.4 million/1.2 rating) were steady, while Splitting Up Together (3.5 million/1.0 rating) and For The People (2.1 million/0.5 rating) inched down.
The CW: The Flash (1.7 million/0.7 rating) and The 100 (1.1 million/0.4 rating) were each up a tenth.
NBC: The Voice (7.2 million/1.2 rating), Rise (3.8 million/0.7 rating) and Chicago Med (5.8 million/1.0 rating) were both steady.
