These hustlers deserve appreciation and day off. At least one day where the pressures of the world are not entirely on their shoulders.
Here are 21 television busy bees that are always engrossed with work and never have time to themselves. Find out if your favorite made the list.
1. Danny Reagan (Blue Bloods)
Danny is one overloaded detective and father. He comes home after serving two tours in Iraq and goes straight to working as a police officer again. Danny has to deal with the death of his wife and losing his house in a fire. If anyone deserves a beach vacation it’s Danny.
2. Sherlock Holmes (Elementary)
Seriously, when does this man sleep? Overnight, this consulting detective is able to analyze countless clues, come up with a genius new lead for the investigation, and still has time to wake Watson with a gourmet breakfast.
3. Olivia Benson (Law & Order SVU)
Olivia is an NYPD Lieutenant in charge of Manhattan’s Special Victim Unit. Benson has had to cope with many life-threatening and emotional challenges throughout her career. Benson deserves some time off but we all know New York could not survive without her. Dun Dun.
4. Leslie Knope (Parks and Recreation)
Leslie has more energy, drive, and focus than anyone else in Pawnee. Some might say it is because she has a diet that consists mostly of sugary, whipped cream, but in truth, it is because she cares. She wants the best for her city and friends. Leslie never gives up even if the citizens of Pawnee don’t appreciate her.
5. Mona Vanderwaal (Pretty Little Liars)
Mona isn't your typical high-school student. She is able to stalk and torture before becoming a victim herself, all while maintaining a perfect GPA. Oh, she was also able to win AD's game and set up her own dollhouse in Paris. Maybe she will get a well-deserved break when The Perfectionists airs in 2019, but I wouldn't bet on it.
6. Wile E. Coyote (Looney Tunes)
Since 1949, this poor coyote has been in constant pursuit of the Road Runner. All of his traps backfire usually resulting in Wile E. Coyote being blown up or falling off a cliff. After 69 years, this guy deserves a sabbatical.
