Everyone can think of a TV lady that they feel didn't get the justice they deserved on a show. It can be as simple as decent storylines but it can also be something like a proper exit.
There are many factors that go into exploring characters on any show, and yet there comes that time where it doesn't feel like some are getting what they deserve.
17 TV Friendships That Turned Romantic Over Time
Instead, they might be let down enough that it leaves a mark on the character and the show as a whole.
There has to be thought placed into the way any character is approached, but there is also something to be said about how many female characters come to mind when it comes to this slideshow.
What TV lady do you think deserved better on her show now that you look back on it?
1. Laurel Lance (Arrow)
Somewhere along the way, Laurel didn't feel like a part of the show as much, especially with the way she was killed off at the height of that. Arrow has been returning back to its roots lately, allowing some of the stuff we loved to come back but it still feels necessary to include Laurel in here.
2. Pam Halpert (The Office)
The inspiration for this slideshow, Pam went through a lot during her time on The Office. It was The Office Season 9 though that brought it all to the surface, with the way Jim started to follow his career goals reflecting back at the standstill that Pam ended up in. After she decided not to finish Pratt, it is like the show forgot that she had dreams and ambitions outside of working at a paper company. And while it made sense not to allow characters to leave the setting of the show, then Jim was suddenly allowed to do something else while Pam just followed along in support. It didn't seem fair for Pam to put her dreams on hold indefinitely and looking back on it it still doesn't.
3. Harper McIntyre (The 100)
If it is a character's last season on a show and fans wonder if she even exists to the others around her, that has to be a problem. Harper spent a lot of time being on The 100 but not always being allowed to have her own story that was explored a fair amount. But it was her final season that struck a nerve with many, a season that didn't focus enough on a character they knew they would lose and that the fandom fell so in love with.
4. Kara Danvers (Supergirl)
This isn't a consistent issue at all, but there are moments where Kara Danvers feels like she is serving the show instead of the show serving her.
5. Bonnie Bennett (The Vampire Diaries)
Bonnie truly gave all of herself to The Vampire Diaries and all the characters included in it, only to constantly struggle to gain any happiness of her own. It was not the greatest pattern for a show to have, and Bonnie Bennett deserved better in all this.
6. Beth Greene (The Walking Dead)
This one still hurts quite a bit. No one is saying that The Walking Dead lost plenty when they killed off Beth and it went downhill from there, but no one is not not saying that.
