Fans of NCIS have been up in arms of late over rumors that Sean Murray is leaving the series regular role of Timothy McGee.
Recent episodes of the CBS smash have teased that McGee is ready to move on from the NCIS team and take on a new job somewhere else.
NCIS Season 16 Episode 21 found McGee visiting an intriguing tech company, but the job offer was taken away when it emerged that he helped Gibbs with a case.
Now, Murray has opened up to Country Living about his future on the show, admitting that he has "no plans" to exit.

"I'm under contract right now, so I have no plans to leave the show," he said. "I don't think McGee's going anywhere."
It's hard to imagine the creative forces behind the show wanting to be rid of the character. He's one of the more popular ones still on the show, so he will likely be around for as long as Murray wants to do the show.
Based on the wording of his chat with Country Living, it sure sounds like he wants to stick it out with the procedural drama until the end.
CBS recently confirmed that NCIS would be returning for a 17th season during the 2019-20 season.
"NCIS has been a global juggernaut for almost two decades. Its viewers are clearly the most loyal of any drama on television. They are passionate about the characters, the plot lines, and the storytelling," said CBS entertainment president Kelly Kahl.
